When humanity is on the edge of decline. When the uprising of machine destroyed the world. When there's only one hope left. The Lone Defender rises.

Defend the last stronghold of humanity against the hordes of killing machine sent after what's left of mankind. 

Contrariwise, play as the Master of AI and achieve your ultimate goal: erasing mankind.

Description

Lone Defender is an asymmetric game where a mobile player plays as the Master of AI, and the VR player plays as the Lone Defender.

The Master of AI is controlling the army of machines that are attacking the Lone Defender. Dispatch your units on the battlefield. Subdue the Lone Defender and crush mankind's last hope!

Meanwhile, the Lone Defender must survive and ensure its platform stays up and healthy as the hordes of machine will try to destroy the two generators holding it together. Use your reflexes to slash the machines. Defend the generators and the core, even if it means death.  

Required Equipment:

VR headset: you need a VR headset connected to your computer using Oculus Link or Air Link to play Lone Defender as the Lone Defender.

SteamVR: Lone Defender uses SteamVR to work. You need to download and install it to make our game work. 

Don't you guys have phones: As the Master of AI, you need to install Lone Defender on your mobile phone. It will be available on the Google Play Store for Android.

Local multiplayer: Lone Defender is made to be played together to share the headset on an evening of games and laughter. To ensure this, you need to connect the PC and the mobile phone on the same ethernet router (via WIFI or cable, it does not matter).

How to play:

VR:

Fight for your life, use your weapons : The Energy Shield, The techno-Sword and the Gravity Gun. Combine their effect to create powerful combo and explosions. 

Survive.

Mobile:

Prepare your attacks, drag'n'drop your units, select your target. Use tactics to set up your attacks and get the most powerful units you can send out to the fray.

Exterminate.

Open a file explorer, go to: "C:/Users/[username]/AppData/LocalLow/LoneSoft/LoneDefender/Logs"

You will find a bunch of .json files. Those are logs from your Lone Defender games. We do not take ANY INFORMATION besides what happens in the game.

Zip the Logs folder and send it to us via mail at: lonedefender.contact@gmail.com.
